Art Appreciation in 21st Cent - photo by Hugh Stegman

***

I came upon this brilliant photo on Facebook.  Art lovers viewing Vincent Van Gogh’s famous painting Starry Night at MoMA in New York.

Actually, I think the well-dressed fellow on the right is a perfect candidate for The Sartorialist.

The shot was taken by Hugh Stegman, who is a writer and a technically-inclined contemporary visual artist on an extended quest for intersections of traditional artmaking, spirituality, and electronic technology.

You can view some of Hugh’s other photographs here on flickr

and some of his computer graphics here.

Also, a book of Hugh’s cell phone art (!) is available to preview or purchase here.

Gentle readers, feel free to include links to your own photography collection in the comments section!
