Busting Out!

Tits, boobs, melons, jugs, bazookas – whatever you want to call them, Busting Out! is a comedy sketch show all about female assets. An uplifting celebration of bouncy songs and wobbly jokes, as well as practical demonstrations of the fascinating lesser-known uses of boobs, Busting Out! is an outrageous, popular Australian stage show that makes ordinary women feel extraordinary.

Created by Emma Powell, this show has been seen by an accumulated audience of over 300,000 in Australia, New Zealand and the UK will make its North American debut in Los Angeles for a limited run, starting Wednesday, October 12th at the Hayworth Theatre.

Part stand up, part musical, part cabaret,  Busting Out! combines songs, skits, physical antics, and even shadow puppetry to expose the full comic potential of the naked breast.

Comedians Mandi Lodge and Bev Killick are a daring duo who brazenly bare their breasts in this silly show. From shadow puppetry to singing Abba, there’s nothing these womens’ breasts can’t do.  Skits, musical numbers and some audacious costume changes are all part of the fun.

As Emma Powell puts it, “Women are bombarded by images of so-called perfect breasts in fashion magazines, billboards and on television, which nobody could possibly live up to.  Our show demystifies and celebrates what women actually really look like under their bras, and allows us all to share a good laugh at ourselves in the process.”
