Celebrate the season with a night full of timeless melodies and sonorous brass harmonies. Join members of the orchestra for a musical sleigh ride through the unforgettable holiday hit by Leroy Anderson, as well as Handel’s glorious Joy to the World, Anthony DiLorenzo’s adaptation of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas, a mash-up of Hannukah staples, and more.

Duke Ellington’s riff on The Nutcracker pairs with Tchaikovsky’s enchanting First Symphony, which the composer lovingly called “a sin of my sweet youth.”  Carlos Simon’s Four Black American Dances opens the concert off on a wildly clever and musically rich ride through history.
