On-camera interview with Artist Sasaki — Heartbeat Drawing

Sasaki poised to inscribe a heartbeat

Interlaced fine lines of red ink form a dense mesh that support an image, suggesting the unlimited expanse of life. The beating of our hearts — the fundamental essence of life — gains continuity through Japanese artist Sasaki’s ongoing art project.

Today the 5 million-strong community shares the heartbeat of a population which is now 20 million and counting. The HEARTBEAT DRAWING project advances with the heartbeats of human beings.
