Gabrielle McClinton and Van Hughes in “American Idiot.” The national tour of the smash hit, rock opera will be presented in Los Angeles at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre March 13 – April 22, 2012. Opening is set for March 14. “American Idiot” features the music of Green Day and the lyrics of its lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong, book by Armstrong and Michael Mayer, and direction by Mayer. Choreography is by Steven Hoggett, and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations are by Tom Kitt.
